MainStrasse Village Classic Car Show

Over 250 Antique and Classic Cars will be showcased along the Sixth Street Promenade in MainStrasse. Free to the public, it's a great way to spend the day with family and friends. Bring a picnic basket for a nice afternoon lunch in Goebel Park, with its landmark Carroll Chimes Bell Tower or dine by the Goose Girl Fountain at one of the many local eateries. And while your here, be sure to stop in Julie's Inspiration to cool off and check out our ever changing inventory of clothing and apparel for men and women, art work by local artists, gifts, collectibles and much more.

First Friday Artwalk/Gallery Hop

Join us on the first Friday of each month @ Julie's Inspiration

as we feature a local artist for the evening during the

Covington & MainStrasse Village First Friday Artwalk/Gallery Hop.

We showcase some of the areas best local talent including works by young, up and coming artists and seasoned professionals. Our featured artist for August is photographic artist Mark Schwartzberg. Light refreshments will be served.

The World's Longest Yard Sale

A bargain hunters dream, this annual four day event began in 1987, stretching some 450 miles, beginning right here in MainStrasse Village and ending in Gadson, Alabama (or vice-versa, depending on how you wish to look at it). Over the years, it has grown to over 650 miles, now running all the way to Hudson, Michigan. For many though, the Goose Girl Fountain in MainStrasse Village will always be the unofficial launching point for this much anticipated yearly event. Great bargains can be had if you have the time to look and enjoy the hunt. Literally tens of thousands of homeowners, venders and dealers participate along the way, emptying out their attics, basements, garages and storage sheds to hawk their goods to the hundreds of thousands of treasure hunters that travel in from all 50 states and beyond. Stories abound of the great finds that have been had. As the old adage goes, "One man's junk, another man's treasure" rings true for those who are willing. Be sure to stop in Julie's Inspiration while your here. We've got some great finds too!

MainStrasse Antiques, Etc.

On the 4th Sunday of Each Month through October, antique & collectibles dealers line the Sixth Street Promenade in MainStrasse Village to sell quality antiques & collectibles. Stroll the morning away and discover great finds and unusual items, then stop by Julie's Inspiration and show us what you got. While your here, take a look around as we have lots of great finds and unusual items too. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of MainStrasse's great restaurants and top it of with Gelatto from Europa's.
