Our featured artist for March's Artwalk/Galley Hop will be

Mel Steinhauer, our resident artist.

Mel will be on hand to answer your questions and display his newest works of art. Mel actively pursues his career as one of the area's premier photographers, constantly adding to his collection of photographic scenes from far and near. See our Art & Collectibles section for a small sampling of Mel's works.

*** St. Patty's Day in MainStrasse Village ***

Wednesday, March 17th

Great food and fun await you at the many restaurants and taverns in MainStrasse Village on St. Patty's day. Everyone is Irish on March 17th and the Village does a good job at proving it. Songs, lymrics and revelry abound at some of the more traditional Irish pubs and great food, done the Irish way can be had. Be sure to stop in for a visit at Julie's Inspiration and show off your Greenery.

*** John G. Carlisle Elementary ***

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this past Christmas 2009 a joyful, memorable experience for all of the kids at John G. through your donation of toys, clothing, money and time. Santa and his elves visted with all 470 of the K - 5th graders on their last day of school before the Christmas break (Dec. 18th) and we were able to provide each child with toys and a special moment with Santa. For many, this may have been the only Christmas that they had. They look forward to our return next year.
